Overview

The principal responsibility of Area Manager, Critical Care & Infection Prevention will be business development and clinical support with key target customers specifically in the area of Infection Prevention, Critical Care, Wound care and Patient Positioning.

In Short

  • This is a sales role involving presenting, demonstrating and securing orders.
  • Develop relationships with key customers into lasting business partnerships.
  • Achievement of sales plans on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Assist customers with clinical, technical and commercial enquiries.
  • Business planning and implementation throughout area of responsibility.
  • Systematic collection, presentation and interpretation of market and competitor information.
  • Implementation of new product launches and other corporate activities.
  • Attendance at relevant conferences and meetings.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ medical sales experience in a hospital environment.
  • A clinical background would be an advantage.
  • Comfortable working in operating theatres.
  • Target driven with the ability to close sales.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Commercial awareness and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Motivated by improving patient outcomes.
  • Proficiency with general business computer tools.
  • Full driver’s License.
