Overview

The Account Executive II at RapidScale is responsible for driving new business in Hybrid Multi-Cloud Managed Services and Professional Services, leveraging strong sales skills and cloud technology expertise.

  • Develop new sales pipeline and drive outbound prospecting.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Manage a robust enterprise pipeline across all sales stages.
  • Build relationships within AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud ecosystems.
  • Drive sales through multiple channels including direct and indirect partners.
  • Utilize a consultative approach to identify client needs.
  • Track prospects and manage opportunities using Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless service delivery.
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitive positioning.
  • Willing to travel 25-50% for customer meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years of sales experience or equivalent.
  • Proven success in building pipeline and closing deals.
  • Experience in IT, cloud, or managed services sales.
  • Experience with both direct and channel sales.
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence.
  • Ability to manage a high-performance sales funnel.
  • Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) preferred.
  • Industry expertise in Healthcare, Financial Services, or E-Commerce is a plus.
