Overview

The Area Manager for Texas will be responsible for expanding K-12 and Enterprise sales coverage by establishing business relationships and meeting sales targets through effective strategies and teamwork.

In Short

  • Responsible for contributing to business strategy for the territory.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through business relationships and marketing programs.
  • Monitor progress of K-12 adoptions and daily business.
  • Forecast business from resellers and end customers.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with business partners and end users.
  • Develop strategic initiatives for driving incremental revenue.
  • Utilize CRM for forecasting business decisions.
  • Support channel partners and end-users at events.
  • Travel up to 75% required.
  • Mid-Senior Level position.

Requirements

  • Degree in education, business, marketing or related field.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in a technology-driven business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

  • Experience developing relationships across sales channels.
