Overview

NielsenIQ is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our Technology team, providing support for new applications and resolving support issues.

In Short

  • Work on support issues and requests submitted via SNOW tickets and email escalations.
  • Provide support during bridge calls for critical outages and degradation.
  • Take knowledge transfers from the Development team for new applications/features.
  • Create knowledge management documentation and submit platform tickets for identified software defects.
  • Participate in on-call rotational support during weekends and after-hours as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Sybase) and Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Shell scripting, Python, PL/SQL.
  • Proficiency in APIs (REST) and using POSTMAN.
  • Knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).
  • Experience with Log Analytical tools like Datadog and Logic Monitor.
  • Familiarity with Docker, GitHub, and Jenkins preferred.
  • Knowledge of GIT/Bitbucket Repositories.
  • Experience with Atlassian’s ADLM JIRA and SNOW.
