As a Senior Data Engineer at CrowdStrike, you will be part of a mission-driven team focused on building and maintaining a hyper scale data lake to enhance cybersecurity efforts. You will work with large-scale distributed systems and contribute to the efficiency of data processing and analytics.

In Short

Design and develop a data platform processing petabytes of data.
Participate in technical reviews and feature development.
Improve service efficiency to enhance customer satisfaction.
Research and implement efficient data querying methods.
Work with remote teams effectively.
Utilize a solid understanding of algorithms and distributed systems.
Build large scale data pipelines.
Experience with Apache Hadoop ecosystem tools.
Engage in test-driven development.
Proficient in Java/Scala and Python.

Requirements

BS degree with 7+ years in data product development.
Strong background in software development lifecycle.
Proficiency in relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with Linux administration tools.
Nice to have: Go, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Parquet, Protocol Buffers.
