In Short

  • Drive Halcyon's new business pipeline growth
  • Identify, hire, and mentor top talent to develop their foundational sales skills
  • Motivate and empower the team to be successful in a distributed work environment
  • Regularly report on key metrics and KPIs in executive level reporting
  • Standardize best practices regarding inbound prospect qualification, outbound prospecting, and sales hand-over
  • Establish and optimize standards for lead routing, scoring, response time, cadence, and messaging quality
  • Make people, process, and technology improvements for better utilization, efficiency, and productivity
  • Work with sales and marketing to define and refine process and strategy
  • Develop strategic Go-To-Market initiatives
  • Refine and evolve a scalable, measurable and predictable process for running and growing the team

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales development or business development role, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology industry
  • Prior team leadership experience (1+ years) leading highly functional SDR/BDR teams
  • Familiarity with both outbound and inbound business development tactics, and KPI’s
  • Demonstrative executive presence and ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Proven success aligning key stakeholders such as Marketing, Sales, Operations, and BD
  • Self-starter with ability to function independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape, especially ransomware threats, is a plus
  • Experience with CRM and Sales systems (Salesforce, Salesloft/Outreach, Nooks, Navigator, ZoomInfo, Gong, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
