Senior Threat Analyst - Remote

In Short

• Monitor and analyze security events to detect, investigate, contain, and escalate potential threats.
• Triage and assess events to determine impact, contain incidents, and drive threat remediation.
• Reverse engineer Windows PE files and other malicious binaries.
• Design, develop, and maintain internal tools for threat triage and correlation.
• Conduct malware analysis in disassemblers and sandbox environments.
• Research and track evolving ransomware techniques.
• Collaborate with various teams to improve product resilience.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in reverse engineering, detection engineering, or security operations.
• High proficiency in malware reversing and analyzing Windows PE files.
• Experience with AI/ML methodologies in cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience with Yara, Python, and scripting languages.
• Advanced knowledge of static and dynamic analysis tools.
• Familiarity with EDR evasion techniques and persistence mechanisms.
• Cloud Service Provider experience preferred.
• Proven track record in cyber threat research or malware analysis.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
