Freshpaint helps healthcare organizations modernize their data infrastructure so they can run world class analytics and marketing while remaining fully privacy compliant. The Strategic Market Development Manager will work with Marketing to validate and operationalize entry and GTM strategies for new verticals.

• Focus on D2C/D2P Pharma and Medical Device markets.
• Conduct deep market research and competitive analysis.
• Collaborate with Marketing on buyer personas and use cases.
• Engage senior executives through discovery and roundtable conversations.
• Travel to industry events for market understanding.
• Translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Build and maintain an early sales pipeline.
• Develop strategic relationships within the Pharma ecosystem.
• Become an expert on the Pharma and Med Device verticals.
• Work towards turning validated demand into revenue.

Requirements

• 5-10 years in GTM strategy or market development roles.
• Experience in validating markets without an existing playbook.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex findings into clear guidance.
• Experience in structured learning and validation loops.
• Proven success in cross-functional team collaboration.
• Familiarity with Pharma, healthcare marketing, or regulated industries is a plus.
