Overview

The Strategic Accounts Manager will drive growth and profit for the business through the management of key accounts in the National Builders sector.

In Short

  • Manage all interfaces with key accounts of National Builders.
  • Implement National Builder Account strategy.
  • Coordinate with National Account Managers and field sales organization.
  • Work with sales and marketing teams to develop pricing and programs.
  • Maximize growth and profitability of the National Builder Program.
  • Lead contract negotiations with National Builder Accounts.
  • Develop account plans for key customers.
  • Represent brands at national builder associations and conferences.
  • Engage in challenging conversations with customers.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience managing national accounts in building products.
  • Familiarity with market forces affecting business and builders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
  • Experience with account management and planning.
  • Knowledgeable in generating and negotiating pull-thru programs.
  • Proven track record of growing sales and driving results.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficient in using a CRM like HubSpot.
