Overview

The Director of Connected Products Sales will help drive and generate new business within new and existing Yale and Master Lock Connected Products verticals, focusing on business development and leading Independent Rep Firms.

  • Set annual sales plans for specific verticals and regions.
  • Assist in developing annual sales targets.
  • Establish KPIs for managing progress.
  • Mentor and teach sales opportunities.
  • Develop strategic vision for sales approach.
  • Build pipeline and generate sales annually.
  • Develop Independent Rep Firms and Distribution Teams.
  • Advises customers on product mix and applications.
  • Provide product training and attend trade shows.
  • Engage and develop a high-performing sales team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of enterprise direct sales experience.
  • Education equivalent to four years of college in business or related field.
  • Experience leading and developing a sales team.
  • Experience in technical product training and solutions selling.
  • Electronic access control experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel is required.
