Director of Benefits Configuration - Remote

Overview

SS&C Health is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Director of Benefits Configuration to lead our benefit setup and administration function, overseeing the accurate and timely configuration of pharmacy benefit designs.

In Short

• Lead the end-to-end benefit configuration process for all lines of business.
• Oversee a team of benefit configuration analysts.
• Collaborate with implementation, clinical services, and account management teams.
• Own the configuration lifecycle within adjudication platforms.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, state Medicaid, and commercial regulatory requirements.
• Partner with IT and Product teams for process improvement.
• Establish KPIs and SLAs for configuration accuracy.
• Support audits and client reporting needs.
• Must have extensive experience in pharmacy benefit administration.
• Strong analytical and project management skills required.

Requirements

• Master's degree with 8 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 10 years, or high school degree with 12 years of experience.
• 7–10 years in pharmacy benefit administration or healthcare operations.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in pharmacy claims adjudication systems.
• Deep understanding of commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid benefit requirements.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Preferred experience with tech-enabled PBAs or PBMs.
• Familiarity with agile project management and data analytics tools.
