Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the top law firms in the U.S.! Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in our New York, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, or Portland offices. We offer a hybrid work engagement with two days of remote work, and three days in-office.

In Short

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Firm’s practice areas.
  • Provide support for specific new business pursuits.
  • Collaborate with key individuals on business development projects.
  • Conduct research related to clients and competitors.
  • Support firm thought leadership opportunities.
  • Develop new marketing collateral.
  • Support client teams and initiatives.
  • Collaborate on events.
  • Support administrative functions at practice levels.
  • Assist the Business Development team with ad hoc tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years of experience within a professional service organization.
  • 1+ years of leadership or management experience.
  • Ability to establish credibility with legal personnel.
  • High levels of organization, communication, and writing skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong multitasking and project management skills.
  • Ability to drive and execute business development efforts.
  • Collaboration with various teams and vendors.
  • Some travel may be required.
