Overview

We are seeking a driven and results-focused Business Development Manager to join our expanding Public Sector team at Wavenet, a managed services provider offering cybersecurity, communications, and connectivity solutions.

In Short

  • Focus exclusively on new business generation within the public sector.
  • Create and manage a personal 30-60-90 day success plan.
  • Define and target a rolling list of 100 accounts in a preferred vertical and product area.
  • Own and manage your activity in HubSpot.
  • Collaborate with the wider team on joint campaigns and go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead the development of marketing initiatives such as webinars and events.
  • Profile, identify, and engage early-stage opportunities.
  • Uncover key routes to market in the public sector.
  • Establish yourself as a subject matter expert.

Requirements

  • A strong track record in new business sales.
  • Deep understanding of public sector frameworks.
  • Proficiency in tools like Sales Navigator and HubSpot.
  • Experience in designing marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent bid writing skills.
  • Strong process management skills across the sales cycle.
