Overview

Palmstreet is seeking a motivated and affable Business Development Manager to lead early lifecycle growth for our Plant category for sellers on our live shopping platform.

In Short

  • Lead early lifecycle growth for plant sellers on the live shopping platform.
  • Acquire and grow top plant sellers through strategic outreach.
  • Onboard new sellers and provide coaching and support.
  • Set and achieve sales targets and performance indicators.
  • Represent Palmstreet at trade shows and plant community events.
  • Manage a pipeline of prospective sellers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless onboarding.
  • Monitor and support strategic sellers' performance.
  • Identify creative lead sourcing methods.
  • Build grassroots connections with plant communities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in business development, partnerships, or sales.
  • Experience managing outbound sales pipelines.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools like Hubspot.
  • Interest in the plant industry is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
