Overview

The Channel Account Manager for ASUS Systems Business Group is responsible for sales execution and business development within assigned accounts, focusing on maximizing ASUS penetration across private-sector market segments.

In Short

  • Works cross-functionally with sales management, distribution, product management, and marketing teams.
  • Identifies and develops sales opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Builds and expands relationships across all levels of the assigned account base.
  • Develops and executes a business plan focused on driving growth.
  • Maintains active contacts within a large customer base.
  • Travels as needed to lead presentations and support customer engagements.
  • Participates in business tracking and reporting.
  • Analyzes and develops end-customer demand across verticals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of outside sales experience in IT hardware, software, or services.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Named-account experience in the commercial PC/client business.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
  • Understanding of indirect (channel) sales motions.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate solution value and differentiation.
  • Ability to influence at all levels.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and customer buying behaviors.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office.
