Overview

The Director of National Accounts at Fairmont Austin is responsible for selling memorable experiences to guests and achieving sales objectives through strong relationship building and effective negotiation.

In Short

  • Solicit group business and achieve sales objectives.
  • Negotiate prices and seal contracts.
  • Participate in tradeshows and promotional events.
  • Maintain accounts and business details.
  • Develop monthly sales strategies and action plans.
  • Mentor the Group Sales team.
  • Contract and manage large programs.
  • Build trust with customers and hotel leaders.
  • Coordinate with hotel departments post-sale.
  • Handle special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Relevant hotel sales experience is a must.
  • Minimum of one year in large group hotel or two years in boutique hotel.
  • Luxury hotel experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
