Finance Manager - Remote

Overview

As Financial Manager, you will be the financial steward of our lodge operations, ensuring accurate reporting, sound controls, and strategic oversight. This hybrid role offers flexibility in working remotely, while requiring on-site presence approximately twice a week to support local teams, ensure compliance, and stay close to operations.

In Short

• Support the General Manager and Group Finance team with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Oversee month-end closing process for accuracy and timeliness.
• Travel to the lodge to review financial processes.
• Supervise payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
• Implement strong internal controls and risk management procedures.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Promote financial literacy across departments.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5–10 years' financial management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and hospitality-related accounting practices.
• Skilled in MS Office and accounting systems.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in budgeting and financial performance analysis.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing finance teams.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.
• Stable employment history and contactable references required.
