Overview

The Advanced Technology Executive at Zones is responsible for driving revenue and margin growth by selling IT solutions to mid-market and large enterprise accounts.

In Short

  • Build relationships within an assigned region and sell IT solutions.
  • Drive profitability and develop target accounts.
  • Provide customer technology roadmaps and account strategies.
  • Develop partnerships with OEM Field Sales Representatives.
  • Participate in local/regional industry events to build market awareness.
  • Up to 50% travel required.
  • Collaborate with Engineers and Solution Architects.
  • Manage deep account relationships and develop strategic sales plans.
  • Focus on selling technology solutions including storage, servers, and professional services.
  • Work with C-level executives to acquire new enterprise business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT solutions sales.
  • 7+ years in business development or direct sales role.
  • Deep understanding of technologies such as Data Center, Unified Communications, and Security.
  • Solid relationships with partners like Cisco and Microsoft preferred.
  • Proven record of acquiring new enterprise business.
  • Experience with CRM systems for pipeline management.
  • Value-added reseller experience preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
