Overview

The Technology Account Executive is responsible for driving sales of Covetrus' cloud-based software, Pulse, through effective lead generation and relationship management within the veterinary industry.

In Short

  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Cultivate and maintain key customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide market insights.
  • Conduct competitive research to inform marketing efforts.
  • Achieve sales targets and develop sales plans.
  • Provide sales and technology expertise to prospects.
  • Manage sales activities in Salesforce.com.
  • Travel required up to 65% for field visits and meetings.
  • Previous ERP sales experience is a bonus.
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong negotiation and objection handling skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical discussions.
  • Experience in SaaS sales is desirable.
  • Strong business acumen and executive presence.
  • Driven and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Industry experience in animal health is a plus.
  • Relevant industry certifications preferred.
