Overview

The Vice President of Key Account Management (KAM) is a senior commercial leader responsible for developing and executing the global strategy for the company’s most strategic customers.

In Short

  • Define and execute the global Key Account Management strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives.
  • Develop multi‑year account plans for top strategic customers.
  • Serve as the executive sponsor for major accounts.
  • Own revenue performance across key accounts.
  • Lead strategic negotiations and renewals.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing KAM organization.
  • Partner with various departments to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Oversee forecasting and account health reporting.
  • Represent the voice of strategic customers internally.
  • Lead executive business reviews and strategic planning sessions.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in strategic account management or commercial leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of managing large, complex accounts.
  • Experience leading distributed teams.
  • Strong executive presence.
  • Deep commercial acumen.
  • Data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
