Overview

The National Accounts Manager is responsible for recruiting, developing, promoting, and managing accounts at the national and regional level for Yanmar Compact Equipment North America. Candidate will grow and sustain equipment sales, revenue, and market share within North America.

In Short

  • Oversee relationships with national accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop strategic account plans to increase revenue, profit, and overall growth for Yanmar and ASV brands.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activities to identify new opportunities for National Accounts expansion.
  • Prospect, establish, and develop new National Account opportunities.
  • Responsible for forecasting, program promotion, inventory control, and development of proposals.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
  • Attend trade-shows, conventions, and National Account functions as needed.
  • Provide and/or coordinate product demonstrations, sales training, and technical training.
  • Identify and pursue government contract opportunities.
  • Set and achieve sales targets for National Accounts and Governmental segments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Ten years sales, territory management, and marketing experience in the construction equipment market.
  • A proven track record of successful management and business growth of prior National Accounts.
  • Exceptional presentation skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.
  • Ability to read and understand financial statements.
  • Self-Starter with a high drive to capture and develop a book of business.
  • Ability to travel; domestic and international, up to 75% travel.
