Overview

The Strategic Partnerships Director is a key front-line fundraiser responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with major donors to support World Relief's mission.

In Short

• Meet or exceed annual regional income goals through donor cultivation.
• Drive revenue growth by achieving monthly performance objectives.
• Ensure retention and growth of existing major donors.
• Identify and acquire new donors to expand philanthropic footprint.
• Plan and execute regional events to engage partners.
• Collaborate with local and national teams for fundraising strategies.
• Manage a portfolio of approximately 100–125 major donors.
• Conduct in-person meetings and site visits to build relationships.
• Track fundraising activities using donor database systems.
• Participate in international vision trips for donor engagement.

Requirements

• Mature Christian faith and commitment to World Relief's mission.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability in fundraising and donor engagement.
• Ability to travel regionally and internationally.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• 5 years of experience in non-profit major donor planning.
• Proficient in donor tracking systems and Windows software.
