Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Sales Specialist to join the OTR Sales Team. This role will be responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within the OTR base of accounts and fleet industry.

In Short

  • Develop relationships with the OTR regional and national sales team to up sale corporate payments.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities for new account development.
  • Be creative in identifying target companies and initiating contact.
  • Manage the sales process through the complete sales cycle.
  • Effectively communicate WEX’s market proposition and propose suitable solutions.
  • Develop strong client relationships with a matrix of stakeholders.
  • Prepare high-quality presentations and proposals for prospects.
  • Experience in contract negotiation.
  • Provide timely and accurate revenue forecasting and management information.
  • Keep Salesforce and Account Management systems updated.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of direct sales or account management experience.
  • OTR experience and/or virtual payment industry knowledge are a plus.
  • Ability to participate in strategy development.
  • Proven track record of managing business development activities.
  • Required overnight travel 75%.
