To further expand this market position, our client is looking for a Business Development Manager who will advance the development of new contacts and the establishment of strategic partnerships in the area of the Bundeswehr, security, and defense.

In Short

  • Deepening existing and building new contacts and business opportunities in the area of the Bundeswehr, defense, and security.
  • Identifying and participating in procurement processes and tenders in the defense industry, particularly in the area of the Bundeswehr.

Requirements

  • Professional experience as a soldier (SaZ), preferably through an officer career or a comparable position within the Bundeswehr.
  • Solid knowledge of the structures, processes, and requirements of the Bundeswehr and the procurement organization (e.g., BAAINBw).
  • Knowledge in building and maintaining networks as well as market and competitive analysis, e.g., through work in business development.
  • High level of negotiation skills and persuasiveness.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide in Germany at one's discretion.
