Overview

The Director of Business Development, Data Solutions plays a strategic role in scaling our business. As a key player within our Sales organization, you are accountable for the overall Brooklyn Data relationship with key accounts within your territory, as well as building and maintaining relationships with strategic partners within our ecosystem. This role demands a successful track record navigating complex sales cycles, team based selling and proven experience building strategic relationships with decision makers and champions.

In Short

  • Co-Sell with Snowflake and other ecosystem partners to sell transformative data services and solutions.
  • Execute lead generation activities to grow market share.
  • Partner with Data Teams to scope and present solutions.
  • Manage accountability for the Brooklyn Data brand in your accounts.
  • Navigate organizational structures to identify key stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and deal updates.
  • Exceed sales targets for data engineering and analytics goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in managed cloud services or data analytics.
  • Experience co-selling with Snowflake, Azure, AWS is desired.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to craft proposals and negotiate contracts.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Natural curiosity about customers and their business.
  • Proven track record of closing enterprise-sized deals.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
