Overview

Utila is an institutional MPC wallet provider and crypto operations platform, trusted by 200+ customers and securing tens of billions in assets. We’re hiring our first Sales Engineer to partner with our sales team on complex deal cycles, helping prospects understand our platform and ensuring Utila’s value is clearly communicated to both business and technical stakeholders.

In Short

  • Partner with sales to support the full sales cycle, focusing on technical discovery, demos, and solution design.
  • Own technical sections of RFPs/RFIs and security questionnaires.
  • Lead technical deep-dives and integration scoping sessions with prospects.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to inform our roadmap.
  • Develop and deliver tailored technical presentations and product demos.
  • Support sales in navigating compliance and operational reviews.

Requirements

  • 4–5+ years of experience in solutions engineering or sales engineering, ideally in crypto or fintech.
  • Strong understanding of institutional crypto infrastructure.
  • Ability to engage with executives and technical teams.
  • Proven track record in supporting complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Experience responding to RFPs and leading technical evaluations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, remote startup environment.
