Senior Solutions Engineer - Data & ML - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Union, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical feasibility and success of Union Cloud PoC’s and production deployments, partnering closely with customers and internal stakeholders.

In Short

• Own technical success of Union Cloud customers’ deployments and use cases.
• Represent the “voice of the user” across the company.
• Assist Union Cloud users in getting started and troubleshooting workflows.
• Educate customers on efficient ML application patterns.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams for feature design insights.
• Document representative examples for customers.
• Champion the Flyte open-source workflow orchestration system.
• Educate technical users about Flyte and Union Cloud.
• Communicate with customers about adoption trends and engagement opportunities.
• Support customer retention and adoption efforts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience solving real-world ML problems.
• Solid Python programming skills; Java/Scala are pluses.
• Familiarity with public cloud technologies and DevOps/MLOps.
• Experience in technical customer-facing roles involving data and ML.
• Hands-on experience with production ML systems in cloud products.
• In-depth understanding of data processing and ML infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Spark, Airflow, Tensorflow, Pytorch.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting engineering teams with open source and commercial products.
• Contributions to the Flyte or Union communities are a plus.
