Support Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Support Engineer at Union is responsible for delivering consistent and long-term customer value, solving complex technical problems, and collaborating with various teams to enhance customer experience.

In Short

• Resolve customer workflow issues by diagnosing platform/infrastructure vs. user code problems.
• Drive retention and adoption by understanding customers' business objectives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Sales to represent customer needs.
• Develop and maintain customer-facing documentation.
• Educate technical users on Union products.
• Own meeting support KPIs and SLAs.
• Communicate regularly with customers about adoption trends.

Requirements

• 3+ years in Data or Software Engineering with public cloud technologies.
• Strong Python programming skills and debugging capabilities.
• Experience supporting both SMB and enterprise customers.
• Familiarity with machine learning enabled solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of ML systems and infrastructure components.
• Familiarity with Spark, Airflow, Tensorflow, Pytorch.
