Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in Portugal and cover the northern region, preferably based in Porto greater area. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a passion for building markets and a strong commercial mindset.

In Short

  • Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation to post-sale follow-up.
  • Identify and engage potential customers and establish long-term relationships.
  • Execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue and profitability targets.
  • Drive market development in the upcoming deposit return system in Portugal.
  • Conduct product demonstrations tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
  • Provide regular reporting on sales activities and forecasts.
  • Represent TOMRA at industry events and trade shows.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of successful sales experience in technical/mechanical equipment industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets.
  • Strong understanding of Sales & Service models.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (Spanish a plus).
  • Environmentally conscious with a passion for sustainability.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; sales certifications are advantages.
