Overview

The Director of Partner Field Sales SLED (Central) at Tanium is responsible for recruiting, enabling, and aligning teams with SLED partners to achieve sales targets, focusing on transforming IT operations.

In Short

  • Develop and execute a Partner Plan for the SLED vertical.
  • Act as the Regional SLED partner expert across a 20 state territory with 50% travel.
  • Engage in high-level discussions with partners to demonstrate Tanium's value.
  • Work with partner sales to identify new business opportunities.
  • Educate Tanium sales teams on partner value propositions.
  • Plan and execute training workshops for partners.
  • Develop regional marketing programs to drive demand for Tanium products.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Align Tanium value propositions with partner strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years in a partner sales role focused on the SLED vertical.
  • Experience with value-added resellers and system integrators.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement vehicles in the SLED market.
  • Experience partnering with ServiceNow and/or Microsoft is preferred.
  • Quota carrying sales experience with a successful track record.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; Masters preferred.
