Overview

As a Tanium Senior Software Engineer focused on platform development, you will build and maintain best-of-breed services that power products as part of a nimble development team. Tanium focuses on a customer engagement model and feedback process to ensure our products are designed the right way from the beginning.

• Build and maintain Tanium's servers and client alongside a highly agile development team.

• 7+ years industry experience, 10+ preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of C++.
• Experience with public cloud technologies (e.g. AWS or Azure).
• Experience with cryptographic primitives, TLS, PKI.
• Experience with HTTP API design and development.
• Skilled in modern software engineering and automation tools.
• Detail-oriented and passionate about user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• CS Degree or related technical field preferred.
• Demonstrates sound judgment for balancing rapid development and code maintainability.
• Communicates effectively, technically and non-technically.
• Believes in writing automated tests as part of development.
• Skilled debugger who can handle production issues under pressure.
• Knowledge of modern software frameworks.
