Overview

The Senior Sales Executive in the Small Law Channel is responsible for retaining and growing their existing account base and acquiring new accounts within their area of responsibility. This position is field-based, requiring excellent face-to-face, telephone, and writing skills.

In Short

  • Retain and grow existing accounts and acquire new accounts.
  • Manage a territory of approximately 800 accounts.
  • Network and partner with customers over the phone and in person.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis within accounts.
  • Exhibit deep knowledge of Thomson Reuters products and the legal industry.
  • Attain sales and renewal targets monthly.
  • Complete weekly sales performance reports.
  • Attend sales meetings and conventions as required.
  • Work from home office and travel to customer locations.
  • Maintain good customer relations and assist with issues as needed.

Requirements

  • 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the legal industry.
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience; JD a plus.
  • Software as a Service (SaaS) Sales Experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and closing skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Able to work from home and travel as needed.
  • High level of competency in internet and database management.
  • Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation.
  • Ability to remain positive in sales situations.
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com.
