Overview

The Business Development Manager position is a critical role in the sales process responsible for identifying key decision-makers and new business opportunities to drive pipeline development and sales growth for the Storage Solutions sales team.

In Short

  • Identify new sales opportunities through outbound prospecting.
  • Assess prospect’s needs and position Storage Solutions as a resource.
  • Adhere to outbound lead generation processes to meet KPIs.
  • Utilize tools to contact, research, and qualify leads.
  • Understand decision-making processes within companies.
  • Build a pipeline of future opportunities through market intelligence.
  • Maintain leads and opportunities in Salesforce.com CRM.
  • Collaborate with project management and sales support teams.
  • Participate in internal process improvement projects.
  • Travel may be required, including overnight stays.

Requirements

  • Strong phone presence and ability to build rapport.
  • Effective listening and questioning skills.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of leads.
  • Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Minimum one year of work experience in a related field.
