Overview

As a Business Development Manager at Storage Solutions, you will gain hands-on experience in the material handling industry, generating new business opportunities and developing a strong sales pipeline.

In Short

  • Identify new sales opportunities & set appointments through outbound prospecting channels.
  • Discover & assess prospect’s pain points & needs.
  • Adhere to outbound lead generation & nurturing processes.
  • Utilize tools to contact, research & qualify leads.
  • Navigate complex company structures for decision-making processes.
  • Build a pipeline of future opportunities.
  • Maintain database of leads in Salesforce.com CRM.
  • Collaborate with project management/sales support teams.
  • Provide in-person support at tradeshows & networking events.
  • Participate in internal process improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Strong phone presence & ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Strong active listening & effective questioning skills.
  • Critical thinking & ability to overcome objections.
  • Efficiently manage & prioritize a high volume of leads.
  • Proficiency in CRM, Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience desired.
