Overview

The Cisco Business Sales Executive (BSE) will be an expert on Cisco Product Solutions and marketing for the company Corp sales force, ensuring that customers receive the best solution to meet their needs. The BSE will work extensively with sales to educate and assist in closing business activity.

In Short

  • Lead customer meetings to drive home why a customer should choose SHI as their Cisco, IT Solution Provider
  • Develop and execute in-market demand generation events for customers and/or partners
  • Be the Cisco expert for the segment by constantly challenging yourself to learn what changes are happening within Cisco
  • Train the sales team on Cisco sale plays and important portfolio updates
  • Develop strong relationships with Cisco and SHI sales leaders
  • Support Cisco deals to close by leveraging the greater SHI and Cisco team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3+ years of customer-facing experience
  • 2+ years of experience selling the Cisco product line
  • 2+ years of experience working with partners/the IT Channel
  • Ability to create and manage external partners and executive-level relationships
  • Ability to analyze and interpret business results
  • Creative and strategic thinking with excellent decision-making skills
  • Ability to educate and train the sales force on Cisco products
