Overview

SearchStax is looking for a results-driven and proactive Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team. As a BDR, you will generate qualified sales leads through targeted outbound outreach in key verticals (healthcare or higher education), using a combination of personalized outreach, social selling, and strategic follow-up. This is a high-impact role that contributes directly to the growth and success of our sales pipeline.

In Short

  • Conduct outbound prospecting efforts, including calls, emails, and LinkedIn posts and outreach to targeted decision-makers
  • Develop and execute personalized outreach campaigns using SalesLoft, Salesforce CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and similar tools to identify and engage key contacts
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospects through value-driven follow-up communications
  • Leverage Gong to analyze conversations and continuously improve messaging
  • Attend Zoom or live events and contribute to pipeline opportunities

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or customer-facing roles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo
  • Ability to develop and deliver tailored messaging to specific verticals
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in or familiarity with Healthcare or Higher Education sectors a plus
  • Knowledge of B2B SaaS or technology solutions a plus
  • Prior exposure to sales intelligence tools and metrics-driven environments a plus
