Senior Technical Writer - Remote

Overview

SearchStax is looking for our next Senior Technical Writer, who will own the full content lifecycle for Marketing & Digital Experience teams – technically savvy content owners who need to configure, tune, and measure search without writing code to Developers & DevOps engineers – the implementers who integrate APIs, SDKs, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure. You will define the documentation vision, build scalable processes, and deliver content that empowers marketers to self-serve while giving developers deep technical confidence.

In Short

• Build an information architecture that separates and cross-links no-code and developer paths.
• Author and maintain tutorials, UI walkthroughs, and troubleshooting guides.
• Manage portal and help center tooling and implementation.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing on launches and best practices.
• Track engagement analytics to improve documentation effectiveness.

Requirements

• 5-8+ years as a technical writer for SaaS or developer-focused products.
• Success in building persona-based Help Centers and Developer Portals.
• Expertise with docs-as-code workflows and static-site generators.
• Ability to read sample code and translate complex concepts.
• Experience with analytics to improve documentation discoverability.
