Cloud Operations Engineer - Remote

Overview

This role involves joining the SearchStax Cloud team to provide technical support and ensure the reliability of their search service, requiring a Linux and Systems Engineer with strong problem-solving skills.

• Collaborate with engineers to ensure high availability of services.
• Resolve customer support tickets and service incidents.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills in English.
• 2+ years of Linux system administration experience.
• Experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of network issues including firewall and routing.
• Familiarity with scripting in Bash or Python.
• Experience with MySQL and NoSQL database systems.
• Web server administration experience (Apache, Nginx).
• Exposure to ITIL processes.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
