Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team and be a part of our Data Operations Team in building and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based infrastructure.

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud solutions across platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop and manage infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and logging frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Collaborate with the Data Operations Team to ensure reliable operation of ETL pipelines.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data and cloud infrastructure.
• Implement best practices for security and compliance.
• Automate routine operational tasks to improve reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure-related issues.
• Work closely with data engineers and software developers.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud and DevOps technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in an IT Engineering role.
• Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong background in DevOps practices and tools.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and big data tools.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python or Bash.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of system monitoring and logging tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
