Senior IT SOX Auditor - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT SOX Auditor to join our internal audit team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing audits related to the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance framework. This role involves assessing the design and effectiveness of internal controls, identifying risks, and recommending remediation plans to ensure adherence to SOX requirements and Company policies.

In Short

• Work closely with Sr IT SOX Manager on SOX scoping and designing IT controls.
• Document test methodology and execute controls testing.
• Attend walkthroughs to understand IT systems and document results.
• Ensure quality of SOX deliverables.
• Escalate identified gaps to Sr IT SOX Manager.
• Track SOX program status and reporting.

Requirements

• 5-6 years of experience in IT audit or IT SOX compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in related field; CPA, CISA is a plus.
• Knowledge of IT general controls and related testing.
• Familiarity with risk and control frameworks like COSO, COBIT.
• Experience in the annual SOX compliance cycle.
• Self-starter with initiative and independence.
