In Short

• Lead day-to-day engagement tasks, including planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up.
• Prepare complex financial statements with disclosures and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Document, validate, test, and assess various control systems.
• Act as a key client contact, answering questions and providing guidance.
• Identify and suggest improvements to clients' internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Research complex accounting topics, offer recommendations, and assess the impact on clients and engagements.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality results and a positive working dynamic.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required); a Master’s degree is a plus.
• CPA license (preferred).
• 2+ years of audit experience with a large local, regional, or national public accounting firm.
• A solid understanding of GAAP and experience coordinating audit stages for public and private companies.
• Strong project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor team members while managing engagements effectively.
• Experience with tools like CCH Engagement and Knowledge Coach (or equivalent).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
