Overview

The SSA Business Development Manager (BDM) will play a key role in building and nurturing strong customer relationships, enhancing satisfaction and loyalty while maximizing the lifetime value of each customer.

In Short

  • Build effective relationships with new customers and key personnel.

  • Manage onboarding and customer success initiatives.

  • Meet and exceed assigned targets for sales volume.
  • Utilize social media and networking for business development.
  • Drive initiatives to improve customer experience.
  • Work across departments to advocate for customer needs.
  • Carry out additional tasks as requested by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales role.
  • Experience in account management.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and client accounts.
  • Ability to network and communicate at all levels.
  • High attention to detail in contract maintenance.
  • Ability and desire to travel to SANS events.
