Manager - Business Development (Asia Packaging & Labels) - Remote

Overview

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the company by partnering with RRD Sales to identify new business opportunities with existing customers, leveraging strategic partnerships, and leading initiatives that enhance the company’s market presence.

In Short

• Act as the primary point of contact for all business development initiatives for the Asia packaging & label platform.
• Develop colleagues’ and customers’ understanding of services and solutions provided by the Asia packaging & label platforms.
• Work closely with National Sales, Strategy, and Business Development to develop and execute a process to vet new opportunities.
• Responsible for following up on Packaging & label Opportunities in Salesforce.
• Identify and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Explore and evaluate new business opportunities, including existing and potential clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with sales representatives.
• Oversee the preparation of proposals and presentations for potential clients.
• Collaborate with senior management to define and prioritize business development initiatives.
• Leads others to solve complex problems and uses analytical thought to identify innovative sales solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in the packaging industry.
• Packaging Knowledge – Folding Carton, Rigid Box, etc.
• 3+ years experience in business development or marketing.
• Experience working with Global Brands.
• Understanding of Asia competitive landscape.
