Overview

The OEM Business Development Manager will lead a team to grow Rotork’s sales through a variety of OEM sales channels, expanding sales at existing OEM channels and identifying potential customers.

In Short

  • Responsible for growing sales at Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
  • Develops and maintains customer relationships with OEMs
  • Maintains direct sales relationship with multiple key accounts
  • Manages sales team responsible for growth at additional accounts
  • Develops target account list and track opportunities within company CRM
  • Works with existing outside sales team and existing channel partners
  • Develops go-to-market strategy to increase sales across the market
  • Keeps informed about competitive position and actions of competitors
  • Works with Head of Sales to develop a sales plan aligned with company goals
  • Responsible for providing regular business forecasts for all products

Requirements

  • Sales experience in providing equipment and/or services to relevant industries
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written
  • Knowledge of value selling sales techniques
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time throughout the US
  • Degree or recognized qualification in Engineering or Business preferred
  • Sales experience in the water/wastewater market
  • Intimate knowledge of the US Water and Wastewater market
  • People Management experience
