Solutions Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Solutions Engineer at Prefect, you will be a primary contact with customers, owning the technical relationships and ensuring their success with our workflow orchestration platform.

In Short

• Serve as a primary technical advisor for enterprise and growth customers.
• Troubleshoot orchestration issues and provide architecture reviews.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for incident response.
• Build reference implementations and run enablement sessions.
• Supply success metrics to CSM teams for renewals and expansions.
• Translate field insights into product proposals.
• Contribute to maintaining high SLA adherence rates.

Requirements

• 2+ years in a post-sales Solutions Engineering or equivalent role.
• Proficiency in Python, ideally in data-workflow contexts.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider.
• Ability to diagnose orchestration and performance issues.
• Practical experience with workflow orchestrators like Prefect or Airflow.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Fluent English communicator at a professional level.
