Solutions Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Solutions Engineer at Prefect, you will be a primary contact with our customers, owning the technical relationship and ensuring their success.

In Short

• Serve as a primary technical advisor for enterprise customers.
• Troubleshoot orchestration issues and provide architecture reviews.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for incident response.
• Build reference implementations and contribute to documentation.
• Support renewals and expansions by providing success metrics.
• Translate field insights into product proposals.
• Maintain SLA adherence rates.

Requirements

• 2+ years in a customer-facing engineering role.
• Proficient in Python, ideally in data-workflow contexts.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud providers.
• Ability to diagnose orchestration and performance issues.
• Experience with workflow orchestrators like Prefect or Airflow.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Fluent in English at a professional level.
