Overview

The Regional Medical Partner (RMP) is responsible for building, monitoring and enforcing the medical standard put forth by Petfolk through collaboration with the Partners in their designated markets and region. The scope of the Regional Medical Partner includes providing a medical viewpoint in recruiting, onboarding, medical record auditing, veterinarian support and coaching, and operational collaboration.

In Short

  • Serve as a regional medical leader, cultural champion, and mentor for the PCC medical teams within Petfolk markets.
  • Focus on the training, growth and medical and financial success of Partner Doctors for PCCs in their markets.
  • Communicate and collaborate with various departments to ensure growth and success of PCCs.
  • Partner with the medical operations team to plan and execute business and medical growth.
  • Responsible for exceeding medical compliance and revenue growth targets.
  • Monitor key metrics and performance indicators to achieve objectives.
  • Understand business drivers and create opportunities for optimization.
  • Partner with hospital leaders to diagnose issues and develop action plans.
  • Deploy structured management processes to drive operational effectiveness.
  • Participate in training and development of new Partner doctors.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in the veterinary ecosystem.
  • DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree with veterinary licensure.
  • 3+ years leadership or management experience in a veterinary setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and execute on systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel within assigned region.
  • Extreme attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with business systems and productivity tools.
