Overview

As Corporate Counsel for Percona, you will play a critical role in providing legal guidance and strategic advice to our organization.

In Short

• Lead and manage compliance, privacy, and contracts functions.
• Provide legal advisory across the company.
• Negotiate and review various commercial contracts.
• Act as Privacy Officer overseeing privacy processes.
• Manage corporate governance documentation.
• Oversee the company’s IP portfolio.
• Collaborate with HR on employment agreements.
• Stay updated with global legal requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of legal processes.
• Engage with external counsel and stakeholders.

Requirements

• A law degree from an ABA-accredited university.
• 8-10+ years of corporate law experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience negotiating international agreements.
• Knowledge of international privacy laws.
• Experience with open-source software.
• Familiarity with technology and SaaS transactions.
• Ability to assess risk in fast-paced situations.
• Startup/in-house and law firm experience preferred.
