Overview

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to maintain existing customers and to gain new customers all while ensuring alignment with Pencco’s capabilities.

In Short

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Analyze market intelligence and forecast sales.
  • Prepare contract proposals and respond to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
  • Participate in trade shows and monitor sales metrics.
  • Gather and qualify leads to expand the customer base.
  • Manage customer relationships for pricing discussions and bid updates.
  • Assist in writing contract proposals.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Applications Development Manager.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities.
  • Attend trade shows to promote products and services.

Requirements

  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to adapt strategies based on market changes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in gathering and analyzing market intelligence.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
  • 8 years of equivalent experience required.
  • Experience in water, wastewater, or industrial treatment.
