Overview

The Solution Sales Executive is responsible for direct sales and business development with Life Sciences organizations, focusing on profitable revenue growth in the healthcare sector.

In Short

  • Responsible for territory and account level growth strategy.
  • Identify and drive sales opportunities for LexisNexis Risk products.
  • Meet or exceed revenue and new business objectives.
  • Understand market direction and needs of Life Sciences clients.
  • Lead negotiations with prospective customers through the sales cycle.
  • Transition responsibilities to Account Management and Implementation teams.
  • Work with Account Manager to maintain relationships and drive service adoption.
  • 10+ years of outside sales experience required.
  • Knowledge of clinical research and commercialization aspects of drug development.
  • Travel required up to 50%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of outside sales experience, including 5+ years with life sciences organizations.
  • Demonstrated Life Sciences domain knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong persuasion skills and ability to manage relationships.
  • Knowledge of Big Data and Cloud Computing is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities.
